Breakthrough Healing Intensive Retreats

My breakthrough healing intensive retreat is not just more therapy or a retreat. It is a complete shift in environment, time, and focus. You step out of your daily life and into a space designed for one purpose: to work through what has been keeping you stuck without interruption.

Instead of 50-minute sessions, you engage in extended, focused work across multiple days with a greater focus on nervous system regulation through wellness interventions.

This allows for:

  • Continuous processing instead of stopping mid-way

  • Deeper access to patterns and underlying drivers

  • Faster momentum and integration

In fact, a single retreat day can equal weeks or even months of weekly sessions because of the continuity of the work.

Why real change is hard in your current environment

Most people are trying to heal while:

  • Managing work, responsibilities, and relationships

  • Staying in the same spaces where patterns were formed

  • Starting and stopping the process every week

Even when progress happens, it’s easy to get pulled back. Not because you’re failing—but because the environment hasn’t changed.

Why this creates deeper change

When you remove yourself from your normal environment:

  • Old patterns are no longer constantly reinforced

  • Your nervous system has space to settle and open

  • You can stay fully engaged in the process

This creates a disruption of the loop itself—which is often what’s needed for real change to occur .

What happens during a retreat

Each intensive is structured, but flexible—because your system leads the process.

A Space to Heal, Reflect, and Restore

Each retreat is personalized, but typically includes:

  • Extended 1:1 counseling sessions

  • Deep processing work (EMDR, Brainspotting, and other modalities as appropriate)

  • Nervous system regulation and integration

  • Time for reflection, rest, and consolidation

You are not rushed in and out of sessions. You have the space to:

  • Stay with what comes up

  • Move through it fully

  • Integrate it before moving on

Deep Work. Real Change.

This is deep work. At times, it can be:

  • Intense

  • Emotional

  • Challenging

But also:

  • Clarifying,

  • Regulating

  • Transformational

More Than Temporary Relief

Many people experience:

  • A significant shift in how they relate to triggers

  • Increased sense of internal safety and clarity

  • Release of long-held emotional patterns

  • Momentum that carries forward after the retreat

  • Feeling rejuvenated, more grounded, and clearer about themselves and their life circumstances

The goal is not just insight. It’s lasting change that continues beyond the retreat.

Who this is for

This is for you if:

  • You feel stuck in patterns that aren’t shifting

  • You’ve done therapy but want deeper results

  • You’re ready to step away from your environment to focus fully

  • You want to accelerate your progress in a meaningful way

This may not be the right fit if:

  • You’re looking for a relaxing or passive experience

  • You’re not ready for deeper emotional work

  • You need foundational stabilization first

Created for deep and focused healing

This is a space to intentionally pause from daily demands and focus fully on your healing.

With extended support, personalized care, and time to fully process what comes up, the retreat allows deeper work to unfold in a more grounded and supported way.

How this fits into your recovery

This is not a starting point for everyone.

And it’s not a replacement for ongoing work.

This is for when:

  • You need space away from your everyday environment so your mind, body, and soul can fully slow down, heal, and restore. It can be especially powerful for those who want to combine deep inner healing work with time in a peaceful, restorative setting.

  • You’re ready to go deeper than weekly sessions allow

  • You feel stuck despite doing the work

  • You want to create real momentum in your recovery

  • You’re ready to step fully into the process

This is about accelerating and deepening your progress—

not bypassing it.

What we focus on

During a retreat, we work at multiple levels:

  • The patterns keeping you in the loop

  • The underlying experiences driving those patterns

  • The nervous system responses that feel automatic

  • The identity shifts needed to move forward

This is not about surface-level change.

It’s about resolving what’s underneath—so the loop no longer holds.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an intensive retreat?

An intensive retreat is an immersive therapeutic experience that provides dedicated time away from the demands of daily life to focus on healing. Rather than meeting for short weekly sessions, you'll spend one or more days working closely with your therapist in a structured, supportive and relaxing environment designed to promote wellness, recovery and meaningful progress.

What concerns or challenges can intensive retreats help address?

Intensive retreats may help individuals experiencing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, grief, relationship difficulties, childhood wounds, life transitions, burnout, emotional overwhelm, and other patterns that continue to interfere with daily life. During your consultation, I'll help you determine whether an intensive retreat is the most appropriate approach for your situation.

What makes your intensive retreat approach unique?

The most unique aspect of it is that I invite God to take over and lead us in achieving the healing and restoration He knows that you need. This means you might be led to sit still, pray, dance, sing, write, worship throughout your time. Overall, my intensive retreats are personalized to your unique story, goals, and healing needs. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach, I will create a customized treatment experience that combines evidence-based therapies with compassionate, individualized care. My goal is to help you move beyond symptom management toward lasting healing and meaningful transformation.

What approaches do you use during intensive retreats?

Your retreat is tailored to your unique needs and may incorporate evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, Brainspotting, attachment-focused interventions, nervous system regulation, and other trauma-informed therapies. Depending on your goals, faith-based support may also be integrated into your treatment when appropriate.

How long does an intensive retreat last?

Retreats vary depending on your individual needs and goals. Options may range from a single day to multiple consecutive days. During your consultation, I'll recommend the format that best supports your healing journey.

How many sessions will I need?

Every person is different. Some clients achieve their goals in one retreat, while others choose additional intensives or follow-up sessions to continue their progress. Your treatment plan will be tailored to your specific needs.

Do you offer intensive retreats in person, virtually, or both?

Most intensive retreats are offered in person to provide the most immersive therapeutic experience. Some intensive services may also be available virtually, depending on the type of treatment and your location. I'll discuss the best option for you during your consultation.

Do you accept insurance for intensive retreats?

No. Intensive retreats are private-pay services and are not billed directly through insurance.

What are your payment and cancellation policies?

Payment terms, deposits, and cancellation policies will be explained before you book your retreat and included in your service agreement. Because retreats require significant scheduling and preparation, 4-weeks notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made within 4-weeks are non-refundable.

How do I get started?

Begin by joining the Intensive Retreat waitlist. We'll discuss your goals, answer your questions, and help determine whether an Intensive Retreat is the best fit for your needs. Once retreat dates become available, we'll guide you through the enrollment and preparation process.

A different kind of investment in yourself

This isn’t about doing more sessions.

It’s about creating the space and conditions where real change can happen.

Because sometimes the shift you’re looking for requires stepping fully out of your current environment—

so you can finally move forward.
