Process what’s been stuck
Release stored emotional and physical tension
Integrate the experience in a new way
Deeper access to what’s underneath
More complete processing
Stronger, more lasting shifts
We clarify:
What you want to work on (if known)
Or what you’re noticing in your system
You don’t need to have it all figured out.
This is where the deeper work happens.
We use Brainspotting to:
Access specific activation points located in your body
Stay with the process as it unfolds through deep meditation, quietness, or with biolateral sound
Allow your system to move through what’s keep you stuck
This often happens with less talking—and more awareness of what’s happening internally.
After the session, we:
Ground and stabilize your system
Make sense of what shifted (if needed)
Map what comes next
Because the goal isn’t just release—it’s integration that carries into your life.
You feel stuck (or paralyzed with fear, anxiety, or worry) even though you understand your patterns
You’ve hit a plateau in therapy
You want to access deeper layers of healing
You’re open to a process that goes beyond thinking
You’re looking for a purely structured or directive approach (Consider EMDR intensives for this)
You’re not ready to experience deeper emotional or physical responses either due to time or emotional capacity
You need more stabilization before doing deeper work (We can discuss options to get you ready)
People often experience a release of emotional or physical tension, reduced intensity around triggers, a greater sense of internal calm, and shifts that feel deeper even if they are hard to explain.
Sometimes the change is not immediate. It unfolds over time as your system processes and settles what was worked through.

You feel stuck despite understanding your patterns
You’ve done therapy, but something still isn’t shifting
Your reactions feel automatic or disconnected from logic
You sense there’s something deeper—but can’t quite reach it
In a Brainspotting intensive, we don’t force a specific narrative.
Instead, we work with:
Felt sensations in the body
Emotional patterns that arise without clear explanation
Experiences that are difficult to put into words
Deep-rooted responses that feel automatic
This process is less about figuring it out—and more about allowing your system to process what it’s been holding.

Many clients choose an intensive because it provides uninterrupted time to focus on healing without the stop-and-start nature of weekly sessions. This format often allows for deeper processing, greater momentum, and meaningful progress in a shorter period of time. While every person's experience is different, many find the concentrated approach to be a valuable investment in their healing. Brainspotting intensives also do not require extensive preparation with a more free flowing style than EMDR intensives.
Yes. Many clients continue working with their current therapist while completing a Brainspotting Intensive. With your written permission, we can coordinate with your therapist to help ensure continuity of care.
Before your intensive, you'll complete intake paperwork and a consultation. We recommend getting plenty of rest, staying hydrated, eating balanced meals, and keeping your schedule light before and after your intensive so you have time to process and recover. You’ll receive a workbook and wellness giftbag to help you enhance your experience.
Yes. Brainspotting Intensives are available both virtually and in person, depending on your location, clinical needs, and my availability. During your consultation, I'll help you determine which format is the best fit for you.
Payment is due prior to your intensive unless other arrangements have been made. Payment plans may be available for qualifying programs. At this time, no sliding scale rates are available. Please contact us to discuss available options.
No. Brainspotting Intensives are private-pay services and are not billed directly through insurance. If applicable, you may be able to use HSA or FSA funds.
Because intensive appointments require significant scheduling and preparation, we ask for advance 2-weeks notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Specific cancellation and rescheduling policies will be reviewed during the booking process and included in your service agreement. Cancellations made within 2-weeks are non-refundable.
Brainspotting isn’t about pushing harder.
It’s about accessing what hasn’t been accessible—
and allowing your system to do what it naturally knows how to do when given the space.
If you’ve been doing the work but still feel stuck,
this may be the layer that hasn’t been reached yet.
